What are mantras? Mantras are positive expressions and phrases that become transformative when integrated daily. Mantras are essential to promoting an overall happier way of living. You can incorporate mantras through meditation, journaling, positive affirmations, and other holistic practices which boost overall wellbeing. Here are some examples of mantras proven to transform our way of thinking to promote a positive, happier mindset:

- I believe in myself, my skills, and my abilities.
- Today, I choose to be happy.
- Negative thoughts will only have power if I allow them.

The powerful takeaway of implementing mantras into daily practice is that each phrase and expression can be uniquely centered around what is happening in your life – the thoughts you consume, and emotions you feel. By incorporating the phrases above (or choosing your own), you will begin to transform your mindset into a positive, happier way of thinking. Mantras can rewire our brain to alleviate the patterned behaviors and negative thoughts that consume our mindset. I strongly encourage you to incorporate a few mantras into your day – whether it’s written or vocalized. Write out or recall your thoughts after integrating mantras daily, and take notice of how you feel afterwards. Track your progress and note when you feel a difference. After a month or so, you may begin to feel calmer, centered and at peace with yourself. Do you incorporate mantras? If so, please share which mantras work for you!
